Jamieson Ranch Vineyards Light Horse Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 (750ml)
A portion of this blend comes from the Lodi AVA in San Joaquin County, which is well-known for its Cabernet Sauvignon. Vibrant aromas of black cherry, cassis, mocha and tobacco jump out of the glass in this aromatic and lush wine. Bight acidity lifts the notes of juicy black fruit including cassis and sweet spices including cocoa. This is a layered and full-bodied wine with soft, velvety tannins that lead to a long, evolving finish.
The fruit forward profile and soft, supple tannins of this wine ensure it pairs well with meals year-round, including vegetable pastas, and grilled poultry and meat. Favorite dishes include chicken marsala and rack of lamb.
